Minister of Music

Nathan obtained an Associates in Fine Arts, music/piano (Highest Honors) from the Community College of Rhode Island while working as a music department accompanist and assistant music director under Dr. Audrey Kaiser. Nathan has been involved with the music education/musical theatre community in Rhode Island and Massachusetts since 2012, serving as theatrical director, music director and choral accompanist for institutions such as Community College of Rhode Island, La Salle Academy, Bishop Hendricken High School, East Providence High School, Martin Middle School, Bristol Theatre Company, JDAPA, Tabor Academy and others. Apart from offering private lessons and taking to the stage to perform in musicals, Nathan is an avid traveller, having been on musical and educational tours as a chaperone/musical guest performing in cathedrals/churches throughout Italy, France, Monaco and Switzerland. Nathan is working toward his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, hoping to complete a master's program and teach music at the collegiate level.

Office Administrator

Bev started at the former Sayles Memorial Church in November 2007 as an administrative assistant. When Sayles Memorial merged with Pawtucket Congregational Church in December 2009, she became the office administrator for Chapel Street Congregational Church.  She has a Master's Degree in special Education and spent 20 years teaching before coming to the church.

Christian Formation Administrator

Denise was a librarian for more than 30 years before she became our Sunday School Superintendent.  She worked with children and youth in many capacities from Preschool Storytime to Young Adult Librarian.  She schedules and supervises the Sunday School teachers and coordinates the programs for children and youth at the church.

Denise graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Rhode Island. She is married to Keith and they have one adult son, Ezekiel.  They are all members here at Chapel Street Congregational Church.

Church Sexton

Vic has been a lifelong member of the church with his parents, Lillian & Victor, joining in the 1950’s.  Over the years Vic has been a Choir member, Church school teacher, Youth Fellowship Leader and member of the Diaconate.  He started working as the church Sexton at the age of sixteen and through three separate periods of employment has accumulated a history of over 25 years of cleaning the building and grounds of our beloved institution.  Along with taking care of the church, Vic’s profession is a senior associate with the architectural firm Saccoccio & Associates whom he has also been with for a long period of time, over 30 years.
